This is the third season we’ve had the honor of photographing this talented group for the cover of 400 Edition. As PlayRight Productions’ Smoke On The Mountain players prepare to pose for us, we always get a little preview of the stage performance as we try

to capture the spirit of the show through the lens. It’s quite a treat to see the individuals walk up to our setting, then suddenly become their characters—not only their voices, but also their movements and mannerisms—even the tilt of their heads. t’s no doubt that the stage piece written by Connie Ray and conceived by Alan Bailey is a comic masterpiece. It’s reminiscent of the old-time church singings, but you don’t have to be a church lady to enjoy the show. From June 12 to July 27 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm, and Sundays at 3:00pm, you can join the fun with Pastor Oglethorpe and the Singing Sanders Family at the Cumming Playhouse in Cumming, Georgia.
