Good Eating, North Georgia Bicycling
“Look at her, a prisoner of the gutters. Condemned by every syllable she utters.” The tirades of Henry Higgins (Rich Grimshaw) interrupted tea at Dahlonega’s Picnic Cafe and Dessertery. Eliza Doolittle (Rebeka Williams) took it in stride as they prepared for My Fair Lady rehearsals at the Historic Holly Theatre. We shared a fabulous time—entertained to the hilt even though this stage was lit by sunshine and the audience was minimal. My Fair Lady opens on June 28 and will be showing through July 15.

Tea on the Square was an appropriate setting for this month’s feature—Good Eating—and a special thank you to Razzle Dazzle bakery for the authentic scones and petits fours. North Georgia is blessed with some of the best local restaurants and tastiest food known to man...really! The towns that dot GA400 and beyond might be small but they pack a serious punch when it comes to a great choice of restaurants. We’ve put together a list of most of our distribution area’s local restaurants and hope that it provides a guide to eating as you see new sites over the summer.
