North Georgia Fall Festivals, Where You Live
Even those of us who are not avid riders can find beauty and delight in
the cover. Like all of our cover models in the past, these magnificent horses definitely showed personality during our photo shoot. Of course,
most of our models don’t respond as nicely to carrots as these beasts
did. Linda Magness and Rich Vigue, the human beings in the picture,
had immediate smiles when in contact with the animals. It’s easy to see
why their careers have become intertwined with a love of horses.
As with life, one of the most awesome parts of getting to Montana past, Rich Vigue’s horse farm, was the journey. If you tend to drive down to I-285 to travel east to west, take a bit longer and try one of the many alternate routes that connect GA-400 and I-75 through our beautiful countryside. Be sure to make the quaint berg of Talking Rock a stopping point, especially if you enjoy trains and antiques. The constant discoveries that await North Georgia inhabitants are one reason we all seem to be so passionate about where we live. This issue brings some heart-warming words from some ofthose inhabitants.
It’s hard to believe that the Fall Festivals are ready to get underway. Our popular North Georgia Fall Festival Guide and handy map will help you plan which ones you’ll attend. We are frequently asked about our favorites and we can honestly say—all of them! Each festival has its own flavors and fun. Visit as many as possible and find your family’s favorites.
