While evacuated to Gainesville (from the New Orleans area) last
week, I came across your publication and found the festival issue so
interesting we roamed Northern Georgia a bit and did a website article
on the diverse foods available at the events. Suite101.com is an international news and encyclopedic-type website originating out of Vancouver, Canada.

My wife and I just want to express our extreme pleasure that we get with
every issue of 400 Edition! We will have lived in "God's Country" (between
Dawsonville and Dahlonega) this coming November 2 for three years! 400 Edition has just been so helpful and educational (in all subjects). It has
made our little "Day Outings" (up here in our North Georgia Mountains) so
much more enjoyable! What would we have done without your publication? Having worked in New York City for over 33 years and retiring to Memphis,
TN. for over 15 years, it was a great choice moving to this area in our
retirement years! We are here to stay! Thanks again for sharing your 400 Edition with us! -- Charles and Glenice in Dawson County

Really enjoy reading your magazine every chance i
get..Also enjoyed the article on Georgia Wildlife. I myself have been a wildlife
rehaber under a ga state license for over 15 years. Taking a wild
animal that has been injured or orphaned and nursing them back to health is a
very rewarding experience. Then the ultimate high is to release them back into
the wild to live out their lives. The best part is knowing that i made a
difference. -- Robert in Louisville,

It's noon on Monday
morning and I am taking the morning slow, recovering from our first weekend
foray into Georgia after moving to the Atlanta area from Maryland a few weeks
ago. With our first houseguest in tow, we explored the "Alpine Jewel"
of Helen. ...This morning I realized we came
back with a real "jewel", the June/July issue of 400 Edition. I have had
a thoroughly enjoyable morning reading the articles, ordering tickets to go
see Big River next weekend, and making plans to go to the Butternut Creek
Festival. More importantly, I've been uplifted and encouraged by the article
"Lessons from the Laundry Pile". In Maryland you would never find a magazine
with an article that talks openly about God at a public facility and reading it
made me proud to now be called a "Georgian", where apparently it's still okay to
be a Christian and talk about it openly. Thanks for all the
great ideas of things to see and places to go in my new home state for the
coming month. -- Kim, Powder Springs, GA

The January/February 2008 400 Edition is yet another issue whereby when one opens the cover page, "they can't put it
down until every article has been read." This happens to me with every
issue. In my opinion, a copy should be placed in every veterinarian's
office. After reading "Reflections", it is obvious Bob has a genuine love for
animals. Wonderful article. Nice to see a photo of "Scooby." The "Bible vs Cell Phone" in "From the Editor", are words to live by.
Our Associate Pastor thought the words were written by a person who truly loves
the Bible. Can't help but mention the article, Through A Woman's Eyes." Very
meaningful. I will attempt to abide by the last 4 or 5 sentences in the
last paragraph. Bless you and your staff. -- Charlie, San Diego, CA

This past March, my husband and I purchased a home in Murphy, North Carolina. We spent part of the summer, we're spending our Thanksgiving here, and will be back at Christmas for two weeks. We frequently visit North Georgia to shop and tour. This is an absolutely lovely area. When we're here we always make it a abit to stop and pick up 400 Edition. This is a warm, friendly publication with family values. I especially enjoy Jim's Journeys. It's a wonderful reflection of the people and the community. --Betsy, Murphy, NC.

A friend of mine has nothing good to say about area publications and will not read them. Recently I presented her with the latest 400 Edition. The next two times I saw her she praised it from cover to cover - ads, format, writers, and quality saying, "400 Edition is the only good publication in the area. I am impressed." -- Leslie McCoskey, The Book Exchange

Thanks for all your help. The ad you placed for us a few months back called Ask A Friend Fundraiser yielded a check in the mail from an Alpharetta business for $2,000! This helped us make it through a very hard winter, feeding and caring for our animals. Thank you! -- Nancy Turner, Swan Center
