This question is presented to all of us time after time. The guidelines below try to account for the presentation of graphical images...one picture = approximately 75 words. Keep in mind that one of the things our readers find most appealing about our articles is that they are typically accompanied by large, clear images!

Shorter articles, such as 1/4 or 1/2 page articles are easier for us to publish and tend to be more attractive to the reader. 

Quarter Page:

• 320 words with no picture
• 245 words with one picture
• 175 words with two pictures

One-half Page:

• 660 words with no picture
• 590 words with one picture
• 520 words with two pictures

Full Page:

• 1,300 words with no picture (not recommended)
• 1,175 words with one picture
• 1,100 words with two pictures
